10 Days Kenya and Tanzania Wildlife Safari

Day 1; pick up and drive to Lake Nakuru national park

You will be picked up from the airport by your guide who will welcome you and brief you about your 10 days Kenya and Tanzania safari. After you have been briefed about your safari, you will proceed to Lake Nakuru national park where you will check in at your lodge.

After lunch, you will also engage in an afternoon game drive in Lake Nakuru national park and enjoy searching for wildlife species such as elephants, rhinos, antelopes, zebras, buffalos, elands, among others. You will have dinner and overnight

Day 2: drive to Masai Mara national reserve

After having breakfast at your lodge, you will prepare for a drive to Masai Mara national reserve. You will have a stop in Narok town where you will visit craft shops and enjoy seeing the local art and crafts before continuing to the Masai Mara national reserve. Your lunch will be served at your lodge in Masai Mara national reserve as you prepare to engage in an evening game drive.

During your evening game drive, you will enjoy searching for wildlife species such as the big five like lions, leopards, rhinos, elephants, buffalos and other wildlife species in Masai Mara national reserve. After your evening game drive, your guide will drive you to your lodge for dinner and overnight

Day 3: Full Day at Masai Mara national Reserve

Breakfast will be served at your lodge ahead of your game viewing activity in the open savannah plains of the reserve with your picnic lunch. Masai Mara national reserve is home to a variety of wildlife species such as the big 5 which includes lions, leopards, elephants, buffalos and rhinos. There are also other wildlife species in the Masai Mara national reserve like giraffes, elephants, wildebeest, elands, zebras, topis among others.

There are also various bird species in Masai Mara national reserve which you can see during a game viewing experience. You will also have your lunch as you enjoy the beautiful scenery around the reserve and watch wildlife species grazing in the distant plains. After your lunch, you will engage in an afternoon game drive in Masai Mara national reserve and later proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight

Day 4: Transfer from Masai Mara to Serengeti National Park

On the 4th day of your 10 days Kenya and Tanzania safari, you will have breakfast and checkout from the lodge as you prepare to drive out of Masai Mara national reserve through Masai tribe Home. You will have some interactions before you drive out to Tanzania through Isebania border where you will proceed to Tanzania. On arrival in Tanzania, you will be driven to Serengeti national park which is the oldest national park in Tanzania for more wildlife viewing experiences. Serengeti national park is also known for the wildebeest migration which is the annual movement of over 2 million wildebeests. You will proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight

Day 5: Full day at the Serengeti National Park

Your breakfast will be served at your lodge as you prepare for a whole day experience of wildlife viewing in Serengeti national park. You will also explore different attractions of park during the 10 days Kenya and Tanzania safari as you search for its various wildlife species in their natural habitat such as lions, leopards, elephants, waterbucks, buffalos, wildebeest, zebras, buffalos, elands, warthogs, giraffes, rhinos, hyenas, and hartebeest among others.

You will have lunch after engaging in a morning game drive in Serengeti national park and after having your lunch, you will have another game drive to search for other wildlife species within the national park and enjoy seeing attractions like the kopjes such as Simba kopjes where you will spot lions in their prides. You will proceed to you lodge for dinner and overnight

Day: Transfer to Tarangire NP with a stopover Mto wa Mbu

After breakfast. You will embark on a 2 hours and half Drive from Serengeti National Park with a stopover at Mto wa Mbu. Guided by a guide through the community with approximately 18,000 people and 120 tribes living side by side. During your visit at Mto Wa Mbu you will get a good feel for the social side of the village. Mto wa Mbu is a real melting point of different cultures. Participate in the activities here with the help of the guide. Later we shall embark to Tarangire on time to catch our lunch time meals.

After lunch, and checking in our camp, you will have some time to rest before, you embark on an afternoon game drive, later you will have to return to your Camp for an overnight

Day 7: Game Drive and Transfer to Arusha

After your Early Morning Breakfast, you will embark on an Early Morning Game drive. You will be able to spot a number of wildlife before they hibernate because of the scorching sun. After this 3 hours game drive, you will return to your lodge, have lunch and check out for a drive to Arusha. On arrival, you will check in at your Hotel, you may have time of your own, relax at the pool side or have some me moments. Later you will have a dinner and overnight

Day 8: City tour and Kikuletwa Hot Springs

After breakfast, your driver will be ready to drive you around to explore the beauty of Arusha town. He will move you to the most important areas of the city to have a view, take some memories on your lenses. Later you will return to the hotel, have lunch and drive to Kikuletwa Hot Springs. Have moments and swim in the springs for a whole afternoon before returning to your Hotel

Day 9: Transfer from Arusha to Kilimanjaro

After your breakfast, your driver will embark on a 2hrs drive from Arusha to Kilimanjaro, first stop will be at the Kilimanjaro to catch the glance of the mountains before they disappear. The chagga tribe surrounds the mountain so after we shall be able to interact with the tribe at the same time

Later we shall have lunch then transfer to the merituni waterfalls. Later we shall spend the night in Moshi

Day 10: Transfer to Kilimanjaro for a flight to Zanzibar

After your Breakfast, you will transfer to the airstrip for a flight to Zanzibar
